Today I went to the movies with my mum. The movie that we saw was called Santa’s Apprentice.

I have reviewed the movie below:

Name of movie?

The name of the movie was Santa’s Apprentice.

What was the movie about?

The movie was about Santa wanting an apprentice because he is getting older and he can’t do it all on his own any more. If Santa doesn’t find an apprentice there will be no such thing as Christmas. The apprentice has to be named Nicholas, he has to be an orphan and he has to have a good heart.

What did you like about the movie?

I really liked the movie. I liked the characters, and how it was set in Sydney, Australia and the good story line.

How many stars would you give this movie?

I would rate this movie five out of five stars.

Have you seen Santa’s Apprentice?

If so how many stars would you give this movie?

Would you like to see Santa’s Apprentice?

Do you have any recommendations on movies for me to see?

On Saturday I went to Adventure Park with my Mum. Shortly after I arrived I saw Dana, Lauren and their mum (Dana is a friend of mine).

Some of the rides we went on were the jumping castle, the river torrent lazy river, bonito’s bay water play, electric cars and the carousal. They were all so much fun!  Our favourite rides were the electric cars and the river torrent lazy river.

I saw lots of people from Leopold Primary School and some of them included Haille, Molly, Charlotte, Meg and Ebony.

When it was lunch time we all went over to the big under cover area and I had a sausage in bread. It was really nice. I also had some lollies, a can of drink, an icy pole and a lolly spray, which Dana’s mother bought us.

Here are some questions.

Have you ever been to an amusement park? If so what were your favourite rides there?

Have you ever been to Adventure Park? If you have what was your favourite ride?

If you haven’t been to an amusement park where would you like to go?

Today in class we skyped with Mrs Yollis’s class. They are from California in America.

What I liked about skyping with Mrs Yollis’s class was that we all got to learn about America. My favourite thing was learning about the Statue of Liberty. I liked it because Royce drew a really nice picture of it and I learnt about its history.

We taught Mrs Yollis’s class about cricket, Australian animals, our theme parks, tourist attractions and lots more!

Have you ever skyped with someone?

If you haven’t skyped with someone would you like to and who would you skype with?

What was your favourite thing about skyping with Mrs Yollis’s class?

Today it is Halloween.

This is a Halloween story that I made up with my mum.

Once upon a time there was a girl named Sally and she wanted to surprise her mum by buying her a special present for her Birthday. Sally went to a very old antique shop. She asked the old lady that was the owner of the shop if she might be able to help her find a present for her mother. The old lady said “I have just the thing for you”. Sally followed the old lady to the very back of the shop. Sally was a little bit nervous because the shop was really creepy. The old lady said “Come closer. This is what I wanted to show you”. Sally moved forward and saw a beautiful mirror made of gold. She looked in the mirror and saw an image of herself, but why were her eyes the colour brown when in fact her eyes were blue? She stepped a little bit closer. Did the girl in the mirror just wink at her? Perhaps she just imagined it. The old lady said “don’t worry, the light in here is not very good and your eyes are just playing tricks on you”. Sally stepped even closer to the mirror. Just then two arms came out of the mirror and pulled Sally into the mirror. A few minutes later a girl very much like Sally walked out of the shop carrying a mirror under her arm. In fact she could have been Sally all except for one difference. HER EYES WERE BROWN.

Wa ha ha ha  ha

Did you like my story?

Do you go out trick or treating?

Do you get dressed up on Halloween?
